Meet Ava! She and I met up for a rare sunrise shoot since the weather wasn’t cooperating for us to meet her senior picture yearbook deadline any other way. The sunlight was GORGEOUS, and so was Ava! I just love her session. Even though most teenagers don’t prefer early mornings, Ava is used to it. She’s on a competitive swimming team and swims before school starts each day. This wasn’t her first sunrise by far! Ava hopes to keep swimming after she graduates high school.
Here’s more about her.
Tell me why you love competitive swimming.
I have been doing it my whole life! I have met some of my best friends and I feel accomplished after doing it.
Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after you graduate?
I am hoping to swim in college and hopefully go into nursing.
What are some of your favorite childhood memories?
I used to love going to the park, riding my bike, and hanging out with my siblings at the pool.
Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.
I hope to commit to a school I love, and to enjoy all of the fun things during my last year of high school!
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
To work hard and be kind to everyone!
Ava, you rocked your senior portrait session, and I hope your final year of high school is equally as amazing!
